How to Submit Your Request

A person may send their public records request by submitting a written request to the NMFA’s Public Records Custodian pursuant to §14-2-8, NMSA 1978. The Records Custodian may be reached at:

Please note that when requesting other information that NMFA is not required to create reports or documentation that is kept in the normal course of business. NMFA follows all regulations as defined by the New Mexico State Records Administrator, and the New Mexico Attorney General. Every person has a right to inspect public records of the NMFA, except:

1. As provided in the Inspection of Public Records Act (the “Act”), §14-2-1 et seq., NMSA 1978, as amended and supplemented from time to time;

2. As provided in the Confidential Materials Act, §§14-3A-1 to 14-3A-2, NMSA 1978, as amended and supplemented from time to time;

3. As provided in the Statewide Economic Development Finance Act, §6-25-1 et seq., NMSA 1978, as amended and supplemented from time to time;

4. As otherwise provided by law.
