Opportunity Enterprise Programs

About

The Opportunity Enterprise programs provide low-cost financing for commercial development, workforce housing development, and the development of infrastructure for affordable housing.

The Housing Development Program was created to increase the supply of attainable housing to help address the state’s housing crisis and provide homes for New Mexicans. Loan amounts up to $15 million are available.

The Commercial Development Program was created to increase the supply of commercial facilities in New Mexico communities to create jobs and stimulate economic development. Loan amounts up to $17.5 million are available.

Created by the State of New Mexico, the Opportunity Enterprise programs are governed by the Opportunity Enterprise and Housing Development Review Board and administered by the New Mexico Finance Authority in partnership with the NM Economic Development Department.
